FIVE REASONS TO SUPPORT PRITI PATEL

1. Priti has experience outside of politics

Priti currently works in London and is a Director at a company which provides advice to a range of public and private sector organisations on their business and communication strategies. Her career outside of politics means she has an innate understanding about the issues faced by small businesses which are the driver of the economy.

As a working mum, Priti is all too aware of the demands motherhood places on working families.

2. Priti is a determined to be a force for change in politics

In Priti’s professional life she has always adhered to the principles of accountability, transparency, fair play, standing up for what she believes in. She is determined to bring those same principles to parliament. That means doing what is right for the people of Witham. It means being open and transparent with regards parliamentary expenses and it means above all being accountable to the electorate.

3. Priti understands the importance of local business and enterprise

Priti was born in London and was educated at a comprehensive secondary school in Watford. She has also studied at Keele University in Staffordshire and at the University of Essex.

Priti’s home and early life has played a large part in forming her political beliefs. Her parents, have run a number of small businesses around the South East and the East of England and her family has always lived and worked by the strong traditions of self-help, the importance of family life and support of the local community.

4. Priti is a strong voice for Witham

Priti has always been a believer in straight talking, and has never been afraid to say what she thinks. Whether that includes a strong held belief in never abolishing the pound, or supporting capital punishment, Priti is determined to be a strong voice in Parliament for the people of Witham

5. Priti believes in the issues that really matter

Priti has always campaigned on the issues that effect every day people. Whether that includes post office closures, improving the healthcare or education system, or putting the rights of the victim before that of the criminal, Priti has a track record of fighting for local people on issues that really matter.
