Priti’s Christmas card competition winner announced

7th November 2011

The winner of Priti Patel’s Christmas card competition has been announced after a large number of high quality designs were sent in. Entries were judged by Priti Patel along with Witham Town Mayor Cllr John Goodman and Braintree District Council Chairman Cllr Janet Money last week at Witham Town Hall. The judges were impressed by many of the entries and the winning design was from Chipping Hill Primary School’s Isabella May Otley, who turns 9 later this month. Isabella’s design will now feature on the front of Priti’s Christmas card and the designs from 4 other young people will be on the back of the card.

Priti said:

“Judging was very tough this year with so many high quality entries being sent in from across the constituency. Isabella’s design was exceptional and impressed all of us. Our young people are very talented and I am pleased to be able to showcase a small example of their excellent artwork on my Christmas cards this year.”
