ABOUT PRITI

Priti is the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the 'new' Witham constituency. Significant boundary changes mean that Witham will be made up of wards from Braintree District, Colchester Borough and Maldon District at the next General Election.

Priti was selected for the new Witham constituency in November 2006 by local constituents through an Open Primary election.

Priti was born in London and was educated at a comprehensive secondary school in Watford. She has also studied at Keele University in Staffordshire and at the University of Essex.

Priti’s home and early life has played a large part in forming her political beliefs. Her parents, have run a number of small businesses around the South East and the East of England and her family has always lived and worked by the strong traditions of self-help, the importance of family life and support of the local community.

Priti works in London and is a Director at a company which provides advice to a range of public and private sector organisations on their business and communication strategies.

Priti is married to Alex and has a young son.
